When it comes to car cleaning, most people think they only have two options; you can either take the risk at a local car wash or you can try to wash it yourself. And neither of which is a good option for most people. We offer clients a better option where they don’t need to compromise or risk damaging their cars.
At Lawson, we pay extra attention to the details that most others miss, using the best products available and a process developed over years of valeting experience. And better yet, we travel to you wherever you are in the Derbyshire/Leicestershire area!

The process

Step one - Wheels
The first step is to wash the wheels. We use the Car Gods Wheel & Tyre Cleaning solution and a wheel brush for the best results. After, the wheels are jet washed down to remove any excess dirt.

Step Two - Snow Foam
Next, we cover the whole car in snow foam, which is part of our pre washing process before we contact the car to prevent scratches. We then jet wash the car after to remove the snow foam and any grit or dirt on the surface.

Step Three - Wash
After this, we move onto the washing stage where we apply Shimmer shampoo using a microfibre mitt, thoroughly cleaning the car and making sure to target areas easily missed such as the roof and underside of the car.

Step Four - Jet Wash
We then fully jet wash the car, removing the shampoo solution, along with excess dirt.

Step Five - Wax
We then apply a sprayable wax using the foam cannon to provide a layer of protection to the car and enhance shine.

Step Six - Dry
Lastly, we dry the car using a soft drying towel to avoid water marks, making sure to also dry inside the door seals. The car wash is now complete.

We try to price our services as fairly as we can to make it as affordable as possible.
However, pricing will vary depending on a couple of factors, such as the size of the car, the condition and ultimately, how much work is required.
Here is a rough pricing guide:
Fiesta-sized car - £40
Astra-sized car, £50
7-seater - £70
For a pickup truck - £60
Vans - £60 (excluding rear)
LWB Vans - £70 (excluding rear)
All prices include the inside and out.

We travel around the Derbyshire and Leicestershire area. As a general rule, we tend to say if you’re more than 25 miles away from our base in Swadlincote, then it’d be outside of our area.

No, we don’t require an outside tap for mobile valet appointments. Our vans are fully kitted out with a built-in water supply system, consisting of a large water tank, water filter and air compressor.
