Diamond Cut Wheel RePAIR

From £90 per wheel*

Scratches, scuffs, chips - we can fix it all

Whether you’ve scratched, scuffed or chipped your alloy, our trained team can put it right. Thanks to our specialist equipment, we can re-cut the alloy, removing any imperfections and scuffs so that it looks like new again. We also specialise in paintwork so if the damage extends to the painted part of the wheel, we can re-paint this area, colour matching it to the manufacturer’s original specification.

State-of-the-art hardware

Restoring diamond-cut alloy wheels requires a specialist lathe to trim the surface (and eliminate any imperfections), followed by the application of multiple layers of lacquer to restore the wheel to its initial appearance. Our state-of-the-art wheel cutting lathe is truly next-level. With this machine, we’re able to digitally scan your wheel’s profile, and then cut the surface layer with pinpoint accuracy.

The process

  • Step one

First, we clean and prep the wheel by giving it a good Key to allow the fresh direct metal clear coat to adhere nicely to it.

  • Step Two

Next, we use the cutting lathe to scan and then cut the surface of the wheel to remove the damage.

  • Step Three

After that, we apply a coating of preparation wipe which is a degreasing solvent for the pre-cleaning of bare metal substrates.

  • Step Four

In the spray booth, we then spray the wheel in a direct metal clear coat.

  • Step Five

We then leave the wheel to dry before applying another coat.

  • Step Six

Finally, after the wheel has fully cured, the refurbishing process is complete. We then re-attach the wheel to the car, ensuring the bolts are tightened to the manufacturer’s torque specifications.

Using the best coatings

Unlike other companies, we only use the very highest grade of alloy coatings from Jaytees. These allow us to achieve a high-quality, manufacturer finish and improves the long-term durability of your wheels.
